At the end of each class period you will be responsible for posting a response to your homework readings. You may write about any of the following:

*your opinion of the piece
*a specific quote within the text
*how this information changes your perceptions
*the author's motive in writing the piece
*a question you have about the piece
*the significance of the piece

An alternative you will have as the semester goes on will be to blog about different subjects, songs, videos, quotes, or pictures that I post. From time to time I will find thought-provoking items and I want to hear your opinion! Your responses to these items could easily be used to help you write one of the four major essays.

After sharing your thoughts, see what someone else has to say. Feel free to comment on their blog. The most interesting blogs will be featured on my "Write On!" list.

3/28/11

SCENE PRESENTATIONS!!!! We're doing scene presentations for the next two days. Groups presenting Acts I, III, and V will be going on Wednesday, and groups presenting Acts II and IV are going on Friday. Note: Props and costumes are welcomed, but not required. Don't forget to post a blog that paraphrases ONLY the lines you are speaking. Make sure to let me know which lines those are. All other information is on the handout I gave you.
