If you're looking for something to write about in your blogs, here are a few prompts for you:
1. What kind of man is Macbeth? Look at the description of him in 1.2.15-23.
2. Do you think that, without the witches, Macbeth would have conspired with his wife to kill the king?
3. Analyze the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Notice how they always seem to finish each other's lines. What does the say about their relationship, do you think?
Feel free to write about anything else. These are just a few prompts in case you can't think of anything!
Welcome to CompStreet!
At the end of each class period you will be responsible for posting a response to your homework readings. You may write about any of the following:
*your opinion of the piece
*a specific quote within the text
*how this information changes your perceptions
*the author's motive in writing the piece
*a question you have about the piece
*the significance of the piece
An alternative you will have as the semester goes on will be to blog about different subjects, songs, videos, quotes, or pictures that I post. From time to time I will find thought-provoking items and I want to hear your opinion! Your responses to these items could easily be used to help you write one of the four major essays.
After sharing your thoughts, see what someone else has to say. Feel free to comment on their blog. The most interesting blogs will be featured on my "Write On!" list.
Enjoy and Happy Writing!
